The Root of Stress and How to Deal with It
"Therefore, do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.” -Matthew 6:34
"I'm so busy." "Things are crazy." "I'm. so. stressed." How many times (a day??) have each of us said these words? If we're being honest, I've said these at least 20 times in the last week and a half. Here's the good news: stress isn't inherently a bad thing! The less-than-good news? If we don't take time to properly decompress, we can develop chronic/long-term stress...which brings a whole slew of problems. A little more less-than-good news: we can never eliminate stress completely. But (good news!), we can learn to manage it. Tune in to learn about the science behind stress, what happens to our body, and ways to deal with it!
